San Fran!

I have been meaning to post this for a couple of weeks, but yet again it requires uploading pictures and I always hate doing it. Especially today cause it took forever.

A couple of weeks ago we went to California to visit Brad's mom. She had a few days off so it was the perfect time to go. We drove to Winnemucca the first day and onto where she was the next day. We then drove to San francisco and spent 3 days and then began our journey home.
We had so much fun in San Francisco. We went to a baseball game, walked around, did a little shopping, went down to the pier. Alex had a great time and Devin was an angel as always.
We hit a little snag trying to get back from the pier. We waited for 45 minutes to catch the cable car and 5 passed us either full or not taking passengers, so we decided to start walking and catch a cab. We were never able to catch a cab and had to hike up a hill with a 22% grade. It was like walking straight up. Alex did really well and was a total trooper. He passed out  on Shelley's shoulder about 10 minutes before we made it back to the hotel. We walked almost 2 miles, seemed like the majority of it was straight up!
We hd so much fun Brad and I are planning on going back for our 5 year anniversary next year!

We toured these on the pier. Alex loved this one, looked just like a pirate ship.

We ate lunch on the pier and Devin was scared of the pigeons. I don't blame her I don't like birds either

This is the hill we walked up. The view from the top with Alcatraz in the background.

The view going up.

Alex passed out.

SF is one of my favorite cities! At least you didn't have to walk up Lumbard St, with all the "switchbacks" haha. Glad you guys had fun!!
