1. Brad and I noticed that Mac had a few tufts of hair missing. We figured that Brad's mom had cut something out of his hair. The next day we noticed some more missing spots of hair. I did not think it would be Alex since the only pair of scissors he can get to were always put away and i never noticed them missing. I decided to go check them out. I opened them up and sure enough there was dog hair inbetween the blades. Alex would get them out cut Max's hair and put them back! He never puts anything away!
This is a bad picture but you can see a few dents in Max's fur. We counted about 10 haircuts though.
2. Alex sticks his fingers in his ears and screams/yells. DRIVES ME INSANE!
3. While I was sewing I came out to check on Alex since he was being quiet. I found him standing on top of the kitchen counter putting his car on the glass of the stove hood and watching them roll off.
4. Alex decided that while taking a bath he wanted bubbles, so he dumped out his brand new bottle of shampoo and turned on the bubbles in our tub. He also got out and got the toilet paper roll. Bits of TP all over in the tub!
That is about 3 inches of bubbles.
4. While I was getting ready to go out to dinner with some friends on Saturday night, Alex told me he wanted to color, so I told him to go get his crayons. Instead he found a black permanent marker. I came out to find black marker ALL over his hands, clothes, and a couch!
I am still working on trying to get it out.
There have been several other things, but these are the ones I remember right now.
I also started sewing the baby's crib bedding. I managed to finish the front of the quilt. It turned out well. I modified the pattern for it a little so it took longer that it should have, but it did only take me 6 hours of sewing though.
All the fabric
The crib bumper, crib skirt, and blanket pieces all cut out. Cutting takes the longest and is very boring. Took me about a day and a half to cut everything out. I am sure it would go faster if I didn't have Alex to contend with.
The finished quilt front. The picture doesn't quite do it justice. I needed more light and the camera was not cooperating so this is the best pic I was able to get.
More randomness of Alex. While I was taking pictures he stood next to me and kept saying "CHEESE!", until I took a picture of him, then he went running off at full speed.
Brad was laying on the floor petting the dogs. Alex went over and got a pillow for him and his daddy, got his puppies and blanket and then laid down on the floor too. All while never missing a beat of his show "Yo Gabba Gabba".

Alex cutting the dog's hair really kills me (especially that he puts the scissors back after!). Your crib bedding is sooo cute; can't wait to see it all put together in the room!
Oh even though he is being naughty it is still so stinking cute, I'm glad you are documenting it because you will be able to remind him of what a stinker he was for a minute or two growing up. The baby bedding is adorable I wish I could sew like that!
