The Tour of Utah

On Sunday they were having the final stage of the Tour of Utah, so Brad and I decided to take Alex so he could see all the bikes. Our friends Jake and Jenny came with us. We had a lot of fun watching the stage. The stage was a 90 minute ride which started on 5th south went on the state street to 4th south down to 3rd east and back down to 5th south. The averaged 1:45 minutes per lap, so we saw the ride by quite a bit. Alex Liked it. We even saw Floyd Landis, the rider who won the Tour de France in 2006 but was stripped of the win due to "doping". Alex passed out on the way back to the car since he had not ad a nap yet and it was 4o'clock. But we had fun. Thanks to Jenny and Jake for inviting and going with us!

And passed out back at the car.
Here is some random stuff I haven't blogged about yet.

Bill holding baby Breklyn Ella King at the hospital

Jake and Kim with Breklyn and Nick being the doting father.
And finally My near ER visit. Yesterday we did family dinner at our house. We had my mom, my brother, brad's mom, and brad's dad over for dinner. I was helping my mom with the salad when i sliced my finger with the kitchen shears (scissors). I sliced it pretty deep. I spent the next hour and a half trying to get it to stop gushing blood. Every time I thought it had stopped bleeding at would look at it, it would start again. So my mom looked at it and said i should probably should get stitches, which was the last thing I wanted to go do. So... I krazy glued it. That's right! I super glued it closed, which in all reality is probably what they would have done at the hospital anyways, although they probably would have used dermabond (medical glue) and not super glue. I would post a picture up but I know some people are a little squeamish of that kind of stuff.

Sad, you are a lot braver than I am, I would've been a mess. Love the bike pics what a cool thing to go and see.
