August 6th was my birthday. 23 yahoo! My birthday was pretty laid back this year. ONce you hit that 21 make birthdays are just another day. I did have a great birthday though. Brad took me to see Harry Potter and to dinner while his mom watched Alex. It was wonderful. So thanks to everyone to wished me Happy Birthday!
Now, 8 year olds. What can I say? Kids are just funny. So Friday night Brad and I went to his cousin Corbin's Birthday party. The adults were playing horseshoes outside while the kids were inside playing Rockband. It was starting to get cold so I went inside to get Alex's and my jacket. I walked passes Corbin's next door neighbor Tanner (the 8 year old). I didn't even look at him or say anything to him, my mind was on the jackets, when he says to me "I can't eat cherries." Very matter of fact and dead serious. Thus I asked why, which I probably should have just kept walking but his answer was "because, they give me diarrhea." All i could say was "That is super cool, Tanner thanks for telling me", and was practically bursting with laughter by the time I got out of the house. I told his parents about it and they just said that Tanner says stuff like that all the time. Later that night he again says to me, "I can't drink apple juice, cause it gives me the farts." Oh my this kid. I think that may he should be seen by a gastroenterologist, he apparently had bowel issues. Kids, it just makes you wonder what is going through their heads.
