I posted that Devin was inch worming, well now she is crawling. Very slowly, she is still trying to get he mechanics of it down but is going to be getting pretty fast here very quickly. Think I need to get serious about a baby gate for the front room! She still spits up quite a bit and being on her stomach constantly doesn't help matters so when she does spit up she likes to play in it and smear it around on the floor. Yummy!
And.... Alex started potty training! Which for me is the best thing! Alex actually started last Wednesday but I didn't want to jinx it, cause I was hoping it would stick. Alex has been obsessed with The Cat and The Hat on PBS so I told him that unless he started going on the potty he couldn't watch it. So that night he decided to try going on the potty. He sat on it for probably 45 minutes before he went, but he did! He got to watch it, & got a piece of candy. Since then it has become very involved he gets candy, a sticker on his chart and a star on his hand (a smiley for pooping!) and a car if he goes poop. He gets lots of praise and a "I am so happy and proud of you!". He is diong great. I think he was finally ready so he was willing to be bribed. Over a year ago he peed on the potty for the 1st time! But I am ecsatic that potty training is finally here!
He loves to wear his underjewwears (that's what he calls it) over his pull-up. It's so funny.

Yay how fun, go Alex & Devin!! That is too funny about Devin smearing her spit up around; Brekkie has done something similar.
AWw so cute!! It's fascinating to watch her figure out the whole moving-the-legs-at-the-same-time-as-arms thing..Babies are so fun to watch! She's so cute. Looks just like Alex I think!
