Bye Bye Winter...

Well, the last 2 weeks have come and gone, meaning goodbye to February and hello to the middle of March. We have had quite a bit going on, and thus I haven't really had time to make a post other than Devin's 7 month one. This one is just kind of an update on happenings in the Sanchez family.

1. Devin is one her way to crawling. She started doing the inch worm thing a few days ago. She doesn't get far, since she doesn't quite have the mechanics down, but she will be crawling before too long. YIKES!

2. Brad has been extremely busy at work the last few weeks. His work let another engineer go and Brad has been having to work on the stuff he was planning on being able to pass on to the other engineer, so his work load has just slowly increased. Tonight alone he still isn't home and it's 10:30 and he left this morning @ 7. Which kind of sucks. He might as well be back in school.

3. Today we took Devin to her first movie. Although it wasn't for her. Brad's mom and I took Alex to Gnomeo and Juliet and obviously I had to take Devin. She was SO good! She just sat on our laps and played and watched the movie. She did make her happy squeals a few times, but thankfully no one else was in there so we were able to watch it peacefully.

4. I was able to sell my remaining stuff at Alex's preschool Benefit Bash. Although all the money earned went to the school as a donation, I was happy to know that people are interested in my stuff and was happy it went to a good cause rather than collecting dust in my basement!

5. We are getting ready for spring! Looking into a shed for the backyard, and a double stroller for jogging, walking and our trip to Oregon to see my parents in June. Alex loved looking at all the strollers at REI, had to try out every single one.  Very excited for Spring, but I will miss the beautiful white world when winter leaves.

This is Devin doing her inch worm. She was grumpy after I left her to go get the camera, so she isn't doing it like before, but she's working on it.
