Christmas through New Years!

Wow! I say this every time, but I am pretty sure time goes by faster and faster.
The weekend before Christmas we went up to Boise to visit some of my family. We had not been up there since Alex was 11 months old. It was so nice to see my Grandma, aunts & uncles and cousins. (I don't have pictures because I forgot my camera, so they are on my step-mom's camera.) It was so great to see them, and hopefully with Brad out of school we will be able to go up more often. Alex and Devin were both little angels in the car and hopefully that continues!

On the 23rd we went over to Brad's cousin's for dinner and presents. Alex had a blast playing with all the kids and opening gifts. And of course Devin was a hit too. Everyone just loved her.

Christmas eve we went to my parents friend's house and enjoyed their company. We came home and put Alex to bed and had to finish wrapping out presents. I would say I only had 20% of them wrapped at that point. We were up til 2 in the morning, wrapping presents and putting together Alex's play table. We were very tired Christmas morning to say the least.

Christmas was so much fun this year! Alex was way into the whole Santa thing. He was so cute, he put out cookies, & milk for Santa and even carrots for the reindeer. On Christmas morning, he woke up and came out and saw all his presents. He was a little put back with all of it at first but warmed up & was very excited to open all his presents. He was very patience while Brad and Shelley got their coffee. He ripped into his first present which was Stinky the Garbage truck which was what he told Santa he wanted. He finished opening all of his presents and was excited to play with everything. He didn't even know where to start. A great Christmas for sure! The Best so far!

On the 29th we went to Temple Square with Brad's mom to see the lights, since we didn't get around to it before Christmas. I love going there and seeing the lights, such a peaceful & beautiful place.

December 30th, Devin turned 5 months. She is getting so big and so much fun. Laughing and interacting with Alex. Alex is so great with her. The second she spits up he runs and gets her a burp cloth. Devin is rolling over, and just learned how to jump in her jumperoo. She also is teething, which is NO fun. She is super grumpy, so Motrin has become a staple at our house. She is still so much fun, but I wish she would just say little!

December 31st, New years Eve. We went with Brad's cousins up to a Cabin and spent the night. Alex played with all the kids. We went 4-wheeling and sledding. Alex had so much fun! We played board games, and rung in the New years. On New years we enjoyed the day sledding, and 4-wheeling some more, and then went home that evening.
We are excited for the New Year!
