Right before my eyes, Alex has turned into this little boy. I have no idea when it happened, but out of no where he has grown up so much. I can not believe in two months he will be two. It just blows my mind some days!!
I have been working on Alex saying please and thank you. Thank you is the one we have been working on more recently, and he hasn't been as good about it as saying please. Even with please though yu have to promt him with "What do you say?".
So on Saturday, we went up to Logan to see Deven and Britany. Alex was playing with Avery and Jaxson when Avery took a ball from him, granted Alex kind of let her have it but got upset when she wouldn't give it back. So Jaxson (he is a little sweetie!), took it from her and said "Here you go Alex.", and Alex said "Tank oo". (which if you speak 2 year old, you would understand that means thank you." He said it like 5 times to Jaxson. I didn't hear it the 1st time, until he kept saying it. I couldn't believe it! He did it a few more time when Britany gave him some juice. I still can't believe it! Britany asked me if he had done that before and I told her it was the first time he had done it on his own! They got to experience that and it was just wondeful! I can't xplain the feeling! I started to get all teary eyed and almost cried. Just thinkning about it now makes me teary eyed.
I don't know how it happens, but time just seems to go by faster and faster. When you are a kid you can't wait to grow up and when you have one of your own, you wish they would stop growing up so fast.

I know it is so crazy you guys will have a 2 yr old.I swear it was just yesterday I was holding tiny him on my lap (which he fit very nicely there as a 5 pounder). I love your last line, about being a kid and a parent!
