Boogers and Crying Galore!

Well Alex is sick. The second time in his life. The first time he was sick Brad and I were down in Powell at a Triathalon so I did not have to be here and deal with it.
Over Superbowl weekend we went up to Logan to visit Deven and Britany for Jaxson's 3rd birthday. Well Jaxson was sick and managed to get Alex and his 6 month old baby sister sick as well.
Alex has been showing the signs for about 3 days and Sunday he woke up at 4:30 am because he was unable to suck on his binki and breathe all at the same time. Sunday wasn't too bad. His nose was a little runny and he had a cough.
Well this morning has been rough going. Lots of whining, crying, tantrums, and very little eating of breakfast. He is whining as I write this for really no apparent reason other than he doesn't feel good. Hopefully tomorrow he starts to feel better.

Alex's runny nose, You cant see it but he has two giant streams coming out of his nose. And you can see his red nose from me wiping it a hundred times!

Alex watching nemo in his chair, Sunday morning

I haven't ever really let Alex watch a lot of TV. Plus he is so busy he doesn't really have the attention span. We went to dinner at our neighbors house about 2 weeks ago and watched Findnd Nemo in their theater room. That was the first time Alex ever sat still for more than 2 mintues. I went to costco the next day and bought it and he has been obsessed with "mo" ever since. Which is kind of nice, I can take a shower and not lock him in our bedroom in fear of him getting into something. (since he gets into EVERYTHING)

I remember promising myself that I wouldn't let Hailey be "babysat" by the tv... but let's face it, an hour or so of tv can actually be a blessing when you need to get things done. And I feel really bad for Alex, I've been sick for a week now and I'm not even all the way better yet.

What the crap, he has his own lazy-e-boy? I don't even have a leather chair. Will you adopt me?
