Yay for Uterus!

I am NOT pregnant, if you might have gotten that idea from the title of this post, but two of Brad and I's friends are. Greg and Mindy Richards, and just recently Ashley and Nick King! I am so excited for all of them! We are so happy to see our friends families growing!
Greg and Mindy have twin boys on the way due May 28th i believe! And Ashley and Nick are only about 11 weeks along so they don't know yet, but I am assuming they will find out around her 18th week. She is due Aug 12th. If she is born on my brithday they are going to name her Carly. Just kidding. So big Congratulations to both and of course Nick and Ashley who are newly pregnant!
All the pregnancies have made me miss having my belly. I know it's weird since I was so sick the whole time, but I miss feeling Alex kick and have hiccups. Since now he is such a wild child. He has more energy than the energizer bunny! I'm thinking of trying to bottle it and sell it, we would make alot of money!
Everyone has been asking about how I feel about our friends being pregnant, and whether or not I am baby hungry yet. The Answer is YES! Of course. I miss the days when Alex was quiet, he laid in his boppy pillow and snuggled with me all day and my house was clean for more than Alex's nap.
I just started a Nutrition program and am working on myself for the moment. So we are thinking maybe the end of the summer. I dont know, we shall see how things go, since I know some people have been curious.
But Alex is and always will be my little baby. But there are some days I just don't know what to do with him. For the last 3-4 months he has started screaming. I have tried timeout and a couple other things and he continues the yelling. The worst is in the car. I do not know what to do. People keep telling me it's a phase and I am sure it is, but 4 months! COME ON! Find a new phase! Don't just keep adding them!
Alex is my litte terror, that is for sure. I cleaned the house last week and you would NEVER know it. He takes toys from one room to the next and picks up and new one and totes it off to another room. He also loves to get in the tupperware drawer, which is fine but there are two of them. I have tupperware and plastic dishes all over my house.
And just now he brought me the dish soap from under the sink and crackers from the pantry. Saying "cracker cracker cracker". And Also found a recently liking to the dogs water bowl. He puts everything in it and finds me when he is soaking wet. My life with a toddler , HOLY COW!
Mindy and I were talking the other day and I was telling her that Alex's naps haven't been very long and she told me that he is about the age where they only take one nap. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! His nap time is when I take a shower and clean and workout! It's MY time! So i just relented and have started putting him down at 1. He has been taking a 3 1/2 hour nap! So I lost about a half hour which is no biggie, so let's just hope he continues!I went from 5 naps to 1! Are you joking?!
Brad and I think Alex is a joy. We get a kick out of him everyday! I can't imagine our life without him!
So again Congratulations to The Kings and Richards! I am jealous, but ECSTATIC for you guys!

The other day I was putting all of Alex's clothes away that no longer fit him and found his pumpkin hat from last year. It looked like a yamika

Alex playing with the swifer.
He got it suck under the couch. Very upsetting.

And the tupperware....

I wonder why kids yell? I have witnessed Alex's yelling, and I laugh when I picture him sitting at home yelling, but feel sorry for you!

Oh my gosh, I am dying over his face in the one where the swiffer is stuck. Poor guy! lol

I did find a section about screaming in one of my books. You can read it if you want to, but after reading it myself I actually don't know if it is going to be helpful. But look on the bright side... when he is done with the screaming phase he will probably get into the talking back phase... that one is fun.
