Whoa! Feburary!

I always say that I need to post more, which I do, but I also need to take more pictures so I can post. So here is the last few weeks.

Last Week when the weather was nice, we took Alex to the park. We let Devin just sit in the stroller rather than in her car seat. She loved watching everything. What a different world! It was so nice to get out and enjoy nicer weather. Alex definitely enjoyed it.

Devin also started breaking out of her swaddle blanket. Yep she still loves to be swaddled. She olny breaks out in the morning or after her nap.

The first break out, one arm.

The first complete break-out. both arms and she kicked off her blanket too.

Alex watches Nick jr. every morning, I was getting Alex ready for school and came out the find Devin enthralled in Yo Gabba Gabba. If you have never watched it, it's a trip. I am pretty sure who ever came up with it might have been high. But Devin Loved it!

I love it after it snows, it's always so great to look out and see the world painted white, the sunny shinning and Mt. Olympus pretty majestic. So sad to say I sometimes don't want winter to leave when it looks so beautiful.

Devin started baby food. She has cereal in the morning and a veggie at night. We are still working on her not messing around with it. She's doing pretty good though. She's loving carrots and bananas so far. I had to pull out the high chair, she is so busy trying to grab everything, it was hard to feed her. So she is now in her high chair.

And this past week I have been trying to finish the numerous sewing projects I have sitting on the dining room table. I have managed to finish 5 of the 7 projects. My favorite one was the ring stacker I was going to do for Devin for Christmas but ran out of time. So I managed to get it done. took me about 4 days, but it turned out really cute, and Devin seems to like it.
She is also, getting better at sitting up. But like I said before she is so busy, she is more worried about what's going on around her, so she's always reaching for something, which equals a tip over. While I was taking the picture below, it was the longest stretch of time where she didn't fall over.
