So much to Blog about!

So I have been meaning to blog for about 3 weeks and just have not gotten around to it. So this is a very long post!!
Okay to start off.... Brad, Alex, Devin and I all decided to go for a hike on Labor day. We went up to silver lake by Brighton Ski resort. There was a lot of people there. It was fun just to get out and do our first little family outing. Alex was in the backpack carrier and I had Devin her her little sling wrap. She was so good, just slept the whole time, and Alex loved his backpack carrier!
Brad and Alex!

Alex started preschool this month. He loves it. He has so much fun. He doesn't really play with the other kids but it's great to get him out of the house and doing fun things

Alex's first day of preschool!

While Brad was down in Phoenix one weekend I went out to dinner with some friends and my mom. My friend Kristin had a baby that is about 6 weeks older than Devin, So we took a picture to compare...
Little baby Shaye is just adorable!

Next was Alex's Birthday party, since Brad was out of town for half the month we got around to in on the 19th. Alex had a blast opening presents and seeing all the friends and family! Thanks to everyone who came! My mom got Alex the coolest cake. A girl she works with does cakes on the side and made him an adorable Toy Story 3 cake!
Also, Brad's mom got Alex a power wheels truck, which he loves (of course)!

The cool Toy Story Cake!

Alex and his cake, delicious by the way!

Nana and Alex and his cool truck!

On to Devin... Devin Turned 2 months today and had a doctor's appointment. So did Alex so I will post both their stats!
Devin is doing wonderful. She is starting to smile and recognize me and Brad. I love her little smiles. They just melt my heart. She is sleeping VERY well. She had been sleeping until 6:30 or 7:30 am until about 5 days ago she started sleeping ALL the way through the night 10 full hours! From about 11 pm to 9 am. It's amazing how much more rested I feel not having to get up with her at night even though I am sleeping the same number of hours.

Alex's 3 year Stats
height: 37.5 inches- 60%
weight:    28 lbs     -12%  he is now in double digits!!
head   :   49.4 cm   -43%

And Devin's 2 mo Stats
height : 22.5 inches- 55%
weight: 10 lb 7 oz  - 40%
head   : 39.7 cm     - 27%
So Devin is actually slimming out a bit. Her pediatrician isn't concerned since Alex was so much of a string bean. She still has her adorable chubby cheeks though!

Devin has become very strong lately and can sit in her bumble for awhile. I do have to put a pillow behind her head since her neck gets a bit tired.

Giving a cute little smile!

A friend of ours came into town this past week and all of our friend got together to see her little baby that was born two weeks before Devin. It was so great to see Dana and Savannah. She is just adorable!
All the babies, Savannah, Devin and Logan. He is trying to eat Devin I think..

We were trying to get pictures of them sitting up but they all kept falling over. So funny! But here they all are!

Also, Brad recently became famous in Mona, UT! He is working on a water treatment plant down there and was at a City council meeting. A Lady that worked for the newspaper down there wrote a story about it and put this picture in the newspaper.
Apparently she isn't very good at taking pictures. The girl sitting next to Brad is helping on the project and the guy is Brad's Boss. They all look a little retarded. No offense Brad...

And Some random Alex moments since I have been slacking on those lately
Alex at the dentist. He loved listening to the head phones and watching the TV in the ceiling

Alex wanted to help brad smash the recycle down...

Alex drinking 2 drinks at once, juice and milk. YUM!

Alex recently found the guitar hero remote. He walks around all day thinking he is cool!

Love Alex with the car. I'm super jealous of his truck (do you think he'll give me a ride?). Surprising how "average" Devin has been size-wise compared to Alex. He will get better @ playing with other kids at preschool, our little preschool boys always took longer to be social than the girls (go figure, right?). Oh, and Brad looks like he is sleeping on the job ;)

hahaha I am laughing at how the babies kept falling over! So cute! And that pic of Brad is great. He looks REALLY excited to be there. I can't wait for Alex to start Kindergarten!! I agree with Ashley, boys always take longer at the social thing. Girls just automatically start chatting and forming clicks. Loved this post, sounds like you've had a lot of fun lately!
