I came home Tuesday. Tuesday night was having some trouble breathing, it was very hard to take a deep breath. All that night I was up and couldn't sleep. Wednesday morning I woke up Brad around 7:30 and told him that we needed to go to the emergency room. They took a chest xray and ruled out pneumonia, and kidney infection. Next they did a CT scan and found a blood clot in my lung. I had apparently developed one, which they worry about after any type of surgery. I was readmitted to the hospital. They told me I would be there for about 2-3 days. I was a very upset about it because I was going to have to be away from Devin, and not be home. They started me on two different blood thinners: a pill and an injection one that I have to do 2 times a day. On Thursday the doctor said I was doing well enough and let me go home as long as I was capable of doing the injections on my own. I was so happy and relieved. I am feeling much better. I do have to continue the injections for another 5 days or so then I just take the pill for 3 months. It was a little scary but I am glad that I am alright now and happy to be home with Devin, Alex and Brad.
Other than my return to the Hospital Devin is doing very well. She is actually easy than Alex is. She has slept a full 6 hour stretch at night 2 nights in a row, which is wonderful. For the most part she is a very happy baby.
Alex is adjusting pretty well. He likes to play with Devin's hair and say "Hey Buddy" to her. His only issues seems to be when he is stuck with her, like when Brad and I went and ran some errands. He went from very pleasant to very whiny and grumpy. But all in all he is doing very good. I can't really complain.
Going Home!

So glad that you were able to go home, I can't imagine how hard it was to leave Devin! And can I say you are SOOOO darn lucky that she sleeps so well; Brekke didn't sleep a 6 hour stretch until she was probably 5 months old! Can't wait to see her again :)
