Anyways, friday of Father's Day weekend Brad had a work party at Lagoon. We put Alex down for his nap early and then left to go ride some rides and eat some dinner. Alex had so much fun riding all the kiddie rides. He rode the airplanes, helicopters, boats, spaceships all by himself. Last year we rode the roller-coaster and that was it. The train was by far his favorite ride though. He will still tell you we rode the train and saw donkey's & camels.
On Father's Day we took Alex to his first movie in the the theaters, Toy Story 3. Alex did great, didn't get out of his seat at all and loved it. He still asks about watching it here at home. He did talk in the movie, which wasn't a big deal except he would do it the exact time the movie was quiet. I just can't believe he is old enough for that now.
On Wednesday, my friend Kim and I threw our friend Jandie a baby shower, she is having a boy! Her due date is one week before mine! It was a lot of fun. Played a few games, ate good food (thanks to Jamie), and presents of course. Can't believe Jandie and I will have new babies in 6 weeks!
The Airplane
Ringing the bell on the boats
And the helicopters!
Toy Story 3
Baby Shower w/ all Jandie's friends.
Lydia, and Breklyn chewing on the coasters. They were so cute together.
And Jandie opening my present for her. I forgot to take pictures of it. But she got a rag quilt, burp cloths, a onesie with a tie on it, a car seat canopy, diaper/wipes case, and a binky case.
And my totally random Alex moment
Yes, those are swim goggles, and no we aren't swimming. He decided that he wanted them on, and ran around like that for a good 30 minutes.
Oh and another random moment...
Alex was down with Brad's mom while she was putting her makeup on. He decided he want to look pretty too and curled his eyelashes. (which he doesn't need to since he has long eyelashes like mine)

That pic of Alex in the google cracks me up! The baby shower was super cute, you guys did a great job! And on a side note, that little hat you made is ADORABLE!! I can't believe how quickly you picked up crocheting.
